Tongue in Cheek: Les Temps du Muguet…

On
the first of May the French give Muguet to each other. I love it!
French Husband (like 99 percent of France) goes out early in the morning
and brings a bouquet for each of us. It is the symbol of giving
happiness to one another.

From friend Corey in Provence. I got my little bouquet at the market
this morning. Exchanged terminology with my favorite waitress in my
favorite cafe. Peggy told me how to pronounce “muguets” and I told her
it’s quite a lovely term in English as well, “lily of the valley.” It’s a
great day in France.
