My Alice

One of the great things about friends I’ve met in London, at work and
beyond, has been getting to know them, their friends and families, and
getting to visit in their homes–something you don’t usually get to do
as a tourist.

Here’s Alice, daughter of my friends Wendy and Michael. (And hey, here’s a picture of Wendy, Alice, and me!)
She’s nearly 6 months old, and, as you can see, cute as a button. She’s
lively and interested in things around her, like the art exhibitions we
went to see at the V&A and at the Royal Academy of Arts (Matisse and His Textiles)–both highly recommended. Alice will be one cultured baby!
