Shufflin’ back from Buffalo

Here is the fabulous studio where Dana and I took a class from
Margaret Martin last weekend in Buffalo. So many things to paint and to
look at!

It was supposed to be a flower-painting class, but for some crazy
reason, I didn’t quite snap to that, and so I painted bottles in the
windows, odd dolls, and fabrics. Too much run, really. I hate to paint
flowers, because I always want them to look like what they are–and in
my painting, they never do!

You’ll see Margaret herself, looking quite festive.

And the painting she’s working on . . .
